Screen is on!! This beautiful porch is in its final stages. Screen caps, lattice skirting, stairs and railing with the standard “finishing touches”, and this is going to be the favorite space for this family! Despite COVID’s affect on material production, this project kept moving forward. You can always count on Olde Oak Construction to show up and put in a full day’s work. One guy, one van, and one mission... build beautiful spaces at a reasonable price. Don’t pay for fancy company trucks, excessive advertising budgets, and a fully staffed office. Save money and yet get the quality and attention to detail you deserve.

This screened porch is going to be 🤩🤩 gorgeous! Fully encapsulated, picture frame decking, ceiling fan and TV.... this family may never want to leave the porch!

Ed continues to push me outside of my comfort zone 🤣🤣... today I had to stand on scaffolding and roll trusses! I HATE heights (unless I’m jumping it on my horse!). But this is what makes Olde Oak Construction special... it’s family! You’re not paying for large crews, expensive company vehicles or fancy offices. You get 💯% of Ed’s talent and brainpower. And a little bit of my nerves 😝. This screened porch is going to be gorgeous!

A beautiful door replacement on this historic plantation. The rot had raged away at the transom sill and we had to custom make a new sill out of mahogany. While we normally do not recommend wood doors and windows in this area, in order to keep this repair appropriate for the time period, wood is called for. With proper caulking and painting as well as adding metal flashing over the sills, these doors will last many years.
