Its first product is the SAINT™ Neuromodulation System, granted Breakthrough Device Designation and 510(k) clearance by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) in September 2022 for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults who have failed to achieve satisfactory improvement from prior antidepressant medications in the current episode.

The science began in Stanford's Brain Stimulation Lab and watching it become a service line that treats patients week after week is the whole point of the work.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that awareness only goes so far. Patients also need access and people willing to fight for it.

This week, Magnus Chief Medical Officer and co-founder Brandon Bentzley, MD, PhD and Sr. Director of Market Access Tapusi Patel are in Washington, D.C., meeting with Congressional offices to advocate for sustainable reimbursement pathways for SAINT® Depression Therapy.

This is a necessary effort to make safe, accelerated, and rapid-remission treatments accessible to more patients with depression who've run out of options.

We're proud to be making that case on Capitol Hill this week.

Depression rates are on the rise, and too many suffer in silence. Breaking the silence on mental health and the stigma surrounding depression is necessary, but change can only happen when individuals speak up and systems step up to make an impact.

There are millions of Americans currently living with depression, and ~30% of them don't find relief through standard talk therapy or antidepressant medications.

That fact is at the center of what we stand for. No one should run out of options when it comes to their mental health.
