Incredible to be at the City of Boston Innovation Expo this week!

We had the privilege of showcasing Viken's latest lead-in-water solutions to Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭 and seeing firsthand how seriously Boston is taking the challenge of lead contamination in drinking water.

A huge shoutout to the Boston Water and Sewer Commission (BWSC) — over the past two years, their partnership has been instrumental in helping us perfect our ORCA™ probe, an in-pipe solution that can characterize buried pipe materials all the way from the water meter to the main. ORCA identifies exactly where lead is — so replacements are more targeted, more efficient, safer for workers, and far less disruptive to residents.

Lead service line replacement is one of the most urgent public health challenges facing our country. Every child deserves lead-free drinking water — and Boston is showing the rest of the nation how it's done.

Thank you to BWSC, Mayor Wu, and the entire Boston community for supporting Viken as we work to lead the way on this critical national effort. Your partnership and commitment to this work is helping protect the next generation. 🙏
