Last week, members of our team volunteered at the Berwick Area United Way’s “Day of Caring 2026” at the Berwick Area YMCA , helping with landscaping, mulching, and site improvements alongside hundreds of volunteers from across the community. A great day of teamwork, service, and community impact.

This annual day of service brought together more than 750 volunteers to support neighborhood revitalization efforts, from home improvements and green space restoration to community cleanups. Blue Rock had a great time attending the Career Fair at Williamson College of the Trades in Media, PA this week! Nicole Cataldi and Tim MacFarland, a 2020 Williamson grad, represented the company and connected with many impressive students eager to begin their careers in construction.
“It was great to see so much enthusiasm from the students,” said Nicole. “At one point, a student told us he’d been trying to get to our table all day, but it was packed, which was awesome to hear!”

A huge thank you to all our colleagues, friends, and partners who came out to support the ninth annual Blue Rock–Heart of Nuba Golf Outing!
With 144 golfers, guests, and generous sponsors, we raised $119,460, and the Blue Rock Charitable Foundation is proud to match that amount, bringing our total donation to $238,920.
Every dollar goes directly to support Dr. Tom Catena and his lifesaving work in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan.
Dr. Catena, the only surgeon for hundreds of miles, remains a 24/7 lifeline for hundreds of thousands in one of the most underserved and unstable regions in the world.
Since 2017, this outing has raised more than $1.5 million for Dr. Catena's mission, an amazing collective effort that continues to make a real difference for the people of Nuba.

Blue Rock is making great progress on the 102,000-square-foot cold storage expansion for Shoreline Freezers in Bridgeton, N.J.
Once completed, the facility will include:
● A freezer area at -5°F
● A cold storage dock at 45°F
● 17 dock positions for efficiency
● A battery-charging area for freezer lifts
● A modern two-story office space
Shoreline Freezers will soon have an expanded, state-of-the-art facility to support its continued growth. Work is on track for completion by March 20, 2026.

Great progress is taking shape in Hazleton, PA! Last week, panel installation began, while structural steel er****on also commenced for the 447,000-square-foot facility at Hazleton Logistics Park. Exciting to see this milestone as the project continues to move forward.
