π¨ Flooding Update & Road Repair Info π¨
As many of you know, our area has experienced massive flash flooding over the past few days. The damage to our infrastructure has been devastating β not just in town, but across surrounding communities as well.
The number of calls weβve received from folks needing their driveways repaired or completely rebuilt is overwhelming β and we hear you.
However, we want to be upfront about the current situation:
πΉ Two major quarries we rely on were severely impacted β bridges leading in were destroyed, cutting off access completely.
πΉ Dozens of county roads, ranch roads, and FM roads are closed due to bridges being washed away and asphalt stripped clean off.
πΉ Many of these roads are now impassable, even for passenger vehicles β let alone heavy trucks.
At this time, TXDOT, County, and City contractors will take priority as they work to restore critical road access for emergency services and essential travel. The one remaining quarry that produces road base will be doing its best, but the demand is massive and they may not be able to keep up with production right away.
We want our customers to know:
β
You matter deeply to us.
β
Weβre doing everything we can to get to everyone as fast as possible.
β
We already have a long list of jobs lined up and are working through them as conditions allow.
Please understand β this will not be a quick fix. Nature did a number on all of us, and rebuilding will take time, resources, and patience. Weβre in this with you and for you, and we promise to keep you updated as the situation evolves.
Thank you for understanding and sticking with us during this incredibly challenging time.
