I haven’t been to good at keeping updated on jobs this summer. It has been a great summer so far between surfacing roads, digging rocks out of roads for the town of detroit and patching the holes back to hauling a little bit of wood. Even through in an emergency catch basin replacement for pride. The old one was brittle and caving in so we dug it up and replaced it with a new one.

We had to fix a couple 5’ diameter culverts this week. The ice push one section up during the winter and it was removed so it wouldn’t disturb the water flow. Then it was noticed that the opposite end of the other one was starting to pick. We were able to get both sections placed back where they belong and re-riprapped the ends of the culverts. The guardrails will be getting put back up within the next week or two. There is still plenty of time to get your projects completed before snow flies. Spent the first part of the week pulling stumps and burying them to make a bigger lawn area for a customer. Most of the stumps were pretty easy, but there were 3 big pine stumps that tried putting up a fight, but eventually we got them out and made them disappear 😎
