Just like regular maintenance keeps your vehicle running smoothly, seasonal home maintenance helps protect one of your biggest investments. Taking a few minutes to tackle simple tasks now can help prevent costly repairs down the road and keep your home looking and performing its best all summer long.

We believe a well-maintained home starts with a solid foundation and continues with proactive care throughout the year. Use our Summer Home Maintenance Checklist to stay on top of key interior and exterior tasks and enjoy a worry-free season.

Summer Efficiency & Outdoor Checklist:

Exterior & Yard:
☐ Trim trees/shrubs away from siding, roof, and AC units
☐ Clean and inspect A/C condenser unit
☐ Re-seal decks, patios, or driveways if needed
☐ Check irrigation system for leaks or uneven coverage
☐ Wash windows and check window seals (if not already done for the season)

Interior:
☐ Clean kitchen and bath exhaust fans
☐ Test sump pump (especially after heavy rain)
☐ Inspect caulking and grout in kitchens and baths
☐ Test garage door auto-reverse function
