🔥 Wildfire smoke can clog your furnace filter faster than you think.

With the wildfire smoke affecting air quality across Minnesota, now is a great time to check your HVAC filter.

✅ If your filter looks dirty, replace it.
✅ A clean filter helps maintain airflow and can improve your system's performance during smoky conditions.

⚠️ One important tip: Don't install a higher MERV-rated filter unless your HVAC system is designed for it. While higher MERV filters can capture smaller particles, they also create more airflow resistance. Using a filter that's too restrictive can reduce airflow, decrease efficiency, and in some cases even lead to equipment problems.
