We had a great time at the streambank vegetation restoration workshop this weekend. Thanks to Wildbud Natives and the WREN center for putting it on.

Now is the time to be collecting and planting native stems to jump start the restoration of so many of our destroyed streambanks. Reach out for information on how you can do this, or have us design and implement a vegetation plan specifically for your property.

We’ll be there! A great nursery with even greater folks!

A special event especially for our friends in WNC put on by our friends at Wildbud Natives !!! 🌱👏 Many a stream or creek bank was lost in the recent flooding. Come out on December 7 to learn how to rebuild or to remediate yours using !! Some of the plants will be provided by Carolina Native. This is sure to be an i@formative and extremely useful session. Don’t miss it!!!

Revisiting a greenhouse we built a little while back. Great design that withstood a direct hit during the hurricane. Minor damage and still growing strong!

With the increasing intensity of storm events. Bio retention or ‘rain gardens’, as well stormwater planters can offer a number of benefits to both home owners and those downstream. Natural based storm water management structures
can prevent erosion along roads and banks, naturally retain water allowing it to slowly infiltrate back in the ground, and at the same time help to remove toxins and sediments through the use of proper vegetation and settling. Add to this creating micro habitat and beautiful spaces, these structures become valuable additions to your property.
