Happy pi day! There is nothing quite like pi (π) to bring people together. For literal centuries people have been pushing their understanding of mathematics and testing the limits of precision with pi. The Babylonians (around 1900-1680 BC) had an approximation of pi as 3.125, based on their geometric calculations. Now, centuries later, Yasumasa Kanada and Daisuke Takahashi have broken numerous records for calculating pi, with billions of digits computed.

Growing and pushing ourselves toward a greater understanding of the math and science of the world around us has been a driving force behind our innovation and progress.
