Sarah brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience across manufacturing, medical device and global organizations, with a strong background in multi-site operations, talent development, organizational transformation and integration.

On September 24, MRPC team members Brunson Parish, Denise Sawdey and Jeff Randall joined the Medical Device Materials & Manufacturing course, part of the professional Master’s program in medical device innovation and entrepreneurship jointly offered by UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State.

The program is designed to help future medtech leaders identify unmet clinical needs, develop solutions and build a path toward commercialization. We’re proud to support that mission by giving students a closer look at what happens when a medical device concept moves into manufacturing and how material selection, tooling, mold design and process decisions can influence what is ultimately possible.

During the session, the MRPC team used a second camera to demonstrate specific molding and material techniques while sharing practical manufacturing insights with the class.

This marks the fifth year MRPC has contributed to the program, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help connect engineering education with the realities of bringing medical devices to life.

A job well done deserves a sweet treat! 🍦

Last week, the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck rolled into MRPC’s Butler headquarters to help us celebrate a few recent wins.

Thanks to the hard work of our team, MRPC met customer demand requirements, supported FDA site approval for a customer, and secured preferred supplier status with another customer.

We’re proud of the work our employees do every day to help our customers succeed. And every now and then, it’s nice to celebrate with a little ice cream! 🍨

Last week, our Activities Committee brought some sports-themed fun with a cookout at our headquarters. Employees across all three shifts joined in, showing off their favorite team's colors while enjoying some time together.

From the grill-out to the team spirit, it was a great way to add a little fun to the workday!

MRPC, Plastic Design Company and Injectech are moving forward as one company, bringing together more than a century of manufacturing heritage and a broader set of specialized capabilities.

For MRPC customers, our expertise in silicone, rubber and thermoplastic molding, advanced multi-material molding and cleanroom assembly remains at the center of what we do.
