We are looking for a heavy equipment, truck, diesel, gas, and small engine mechanic to join our mid-sized construction company.
The position includes, but is not limited to:
• Maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy equipment (skid steers, excavators, loaders, etc.), heavy trucks, pickups and small equipment (pumps, generators, compressors, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance on diesel and gasoline engines
• Maintain parts room and maintenance schedules
• Repair of auto/diesel electrical and air systems
• Working in a shop mainly, with some work happening on the jobsite
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred but not required. The applicant should be self-motivated, be willing to work with others, have a good attitude, and be able to work unsupervised. The applicant should have a good understanding of heavy equipment maintenance and repairs. Welding skills are a plus.
Pay starts out at $20/hour plus, depending on experience. Benefits include no cost to employee health insurance and pension. Other benefits include shop use, relocation pay (negotiable), tool bonus (negotiable), annual bonus, and no traveling.
