11 years later and several improvements like rechargeability since it was introduced, the first digital irrigation locator is still the best. Thanks to Ewing for putting this excellent overview of the Pro900 together.

Nothing beats it.

Locating an irrigation valve can be difficult. It may be buried or the valve box is hidden by overgrown turf or vegetation. Or you may want to trace the path...

Thanks to the Armada Technologies Pro 881 locator, we were able to find a valve that was buried 12” under all the leaves, roots and dirt of this magnolia tree and got it repaired.
