Position Summary
Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties
• Advanced Welding
• Operate fork lifts, power tools
• Fabrication/Welding/Cutting/Plumbing
• Perform equipment PM’s and maintenance tasks unsupervised
• Report problems accurately to appropriate people
• Read blueprints, technical manuals and instructions to maintain and make repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical circuits, limit switches, push buttons and solenoids
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic circuits
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic circuits
• Read and understand hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics and make repairs
• Perform and complete Pm’s and responsive repairs in all areas of the plant with minimal supervision
• Thread and run PVC pipe and black pipe
• Perform all paperwork properly in relation to responsibilities
• Follow job specific process sheets and/or work instructions
• Must follow lock out procedures
Physical Demands

The job requires walking, crouching and climbing, and lifting of objects over 40 lbs.; with frequent exposure to noise, odors, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee frequently is exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
Additional Requirements
Basic knowledge and experience with PLC.
