Whole-home water repipes are one of our specialties at RSM Plumbing, and this extensive remodel in Boise, ID was a great example of why.

This beautiful custom home, built in the 1990s, still had its original polybutylene water piping. While it served the home for many years, polybutylene has earned a reputation for developing leaks and unexpected failures as it ages.

For this project we:

🔧 Completely replaced every polybutylene water line in the home—from where the water service entered the house all the way to every faucet and plumbing fixture.

🚿 Installed new shower valves throughout the home as part of the remodel.

Believe it or not, there's a right way and a wrong way to install something as simple as a yard hydrant.
A returning customer in Caldwell, ID called us after their buried yard hydrant failed much sooner than it should have. Once we dug it up, it became clear the original installation hadn't been done using proper installation practices.
