Don't let your fleet washing land you in hot water!

Even if you’re using biodegradable soaps or neutralizing products in a 2-step wash, you must prevent all runoff from entering storm drains or water sources.

Wash water runoff contains many contaminants that can adversely affect water treatment facilities and intake/discharge systems, as well as plant & aquatic life.

Depending on where you’re at, you may be able to divert wash water from storm drains or streams and filter through landscape. Wash sites may also require full recovery & disposal of water through reclaim systems or containment mats or potentially moving vehicles to a wash bay or wash pad.

Have a plan in place to control your wash water. Check with local officials as well as discuss any site-specific regulations for your wash locations.
