It's test fit Friday!

This customer is redoing his front and back decks himself (aren't they gorgeous!), and called us for railings. He's chosen horizontals with round tubes, set off by large square posts. His front railings have a pop-out that matches their front window box, so we definitely wanted to test fit the angles before finalizing the railings. We went with side mounts, so as not to spoil any of his deck work. Can't wait to see the final product!

Great morning installing this nice small backdoor rail for Campbell Homes in Meridian Ranch! We were able to accommodate a rush request for a customer who is taking possession tomorrow (phew!), to ensure they have safe use of their back stairs once they move in. Ski Lift Porch Swing!

Today's install was actually a re-install. This customer had purchased a retired Breckenridge ski lift chair, and we had turned it into a porch swing for him. Well when he had his deck redone, it necessitated re-installing the swing on the back porch. We made a few modifications to upgrade the swing function, and installed it into the new deck. Still qualifies as one of the more interesting and fun projects to figure out!

It's all about the plasma!

Today's install highlights incorporating plasma cut images with traditional welding to create beautiful, functional art. This customer needed two gates.

The outdoor gate includes a plasma cut image of her choice, surrounded by standard vertical square spindles. Since the pathway slopes up to the front of the house, we set the latch to swing on the downslope. This ensure the gate can swing all the way open without getting stuck on the higher side of the path.

The indoor gate can now be latched to keep animals away from tempting chewables in the basement, swung open, or pulled off as needed. It also features a plasma cut design and is topped with wood stained to match the house.

This home's supervisor is Asher!

And thus we complete 5 installs in 8 business days. Back to the shop to build more!

Today's install completed my favorite kind of project, the kind where I got to collaborate with a good friend and amazing woodworker Rustic by Nature Co!

These combination steel railings with wooden top rails provide a unique aesthetic. The latching gate provides additional function.

And introducing Ginger and Astro, who supervised the install!

Great install today of interior horizontal square railings! This customer previously had us remove/re-powder coat/re-install his outdoor railings. He called us back during a complete remodel of the interior of his house, for new steel railings that complement his updated indoor style.

And just for fun, Olive the dog even posed for me.

When it's going to be 97, you do the install early! Today we removed old commercial railings that had rotted and were no longer safe, and replaced them with new powder coated bolt-in railings. We also added 3 handicapped parking signs. Really glad to finish this before today's real heat set in!

Added bonus, we had a little buggy supervisor who hung out for the whole railing install.

Completed a beautiful 152-foot railing install today! Took two days to install everything because we didn't want to overload the trailer and risk damaging the powder coat on any rails... Pretty happy with how this turned out!

This home features a shady front porch that wraps around to a brand-new back deck that is tall enough to leave plenty of airy space for the back porch below. To top it all off, there is a new balcony off the top floor master bedroom. The homeowner chose our classic style, The Collin, with thinner verticals to create a light look while maintaining the sturdiness and trustworthiness of steel.

Every day it's something new! Great install today on the west side of COS. This customer wanted to match an existing backyard gate she has, with a new decorative piece and gate at her front door. We were able to match the style, and attached it to a short concrete wall rather than the sidewalk. The new gate provides easy access to the garden hose from the front door, with the aesthetic she was looking for. A little bit cold but a great morning!
