We just ordered up our new EverlastWeldersUSA 500amp machine to replace our lincoln commander 500. We'll be running the dog p**s out of it for real life reviews on it! Hit up Oleg Gladshteyn so you can pre-order your machine!
Making It a Reality.
For the past three years, Everlast has been working toward adding an engine-driven welder/generator product line to our lineup.
It has been a long road.
There have been a number of obstacles to navigate along the way—from finding the right engine that meets EPA standards and has U.S.-based service and support, to avoiding potential gray-market engines from major manufacturers, and finally finding the right manufacturing partner with the capability to help us build out the generator side of the platform.
In the end, we’ve brought together our established welding-equipment factory and another reputable manufacturing partner to make it happen.
This partnership gives us the best of both worlds and allows Everlast to enter the engine-drive market with a competitive machine offering advanced features, serious generator capability, and the stable arc performance our customers expect.
We’re entering this market with a different approach.
Rather than starting with a smaller engine-drive welder in an already crowded segment with numerous new competitive offerings, we decided to start toward the higher end of the market—where we believe we can bring something different to the table and compete head-to-head in a less crowded field.
For those looking for a smaller unit, rest assured: our goal is to build outward from this platform. Once our presence is established, the supply chain is moving, and our volume allows us to purchase engines competitively in larger quantities, we plan to expand into the smaller engine-driven categories as well.
⚡ Introducing the Everlast Electra-Force Series
We’ll officially introduce the Electra-Force series at FABTECH in Las Vegas this year.
The machine shown in the photo is currently being pre-assembled before shipment to our primary factory, where our other Everlast welding products are produced and final integration will take place.
Here’s a first look at the Electra-Force 500D:
WELDING OUTPUT
The Electra-Force 500D features single-operator and dual-operator welding stations, each with LCD controls designed for straightforward operation.
Single-Operator Mode
• Output: 20–500A
• Voltage: 14–40V
• 60% duty cycle @ 500A
• 100% duty cycle @ 390A
Dual-Operator Mode
• Up to 300A per operator
• 60% duty cycle @ 300A
• 100% duty cycle @ 230A
WELDING PROCESSES & FEATURES
• SMAW / Stick
• GTAW / TIG
• CAC-A / Carbon Arc Gouging
• GMAW / MIG and FCAW capability with an optional wire feeder
• Remote amperage control for Stick and TIG with optional pedal or remote control
• E6010 downhill capability
• Adjustable Arc Force
• Hot Start
• Gouging capability
As a true multi-process platform, the Electra-Force 500D is designed to handle far more than basic field welding.
DIGITAL WELDING CONTROLS
The Electra-Force will use the digital control philosophy many Everlast customers are already familiar with, while incorporating a new-generation interface and higher environmental protection ratings.
The new all-in-one display will feature a revised appearance while maintaining the straightforward feel familiar to users of our current TIG and MIG platforms.
GENERATOR OUTPUT
This is where the Electra-Force 500D really separates itself.
⚡ 480V Three-Phase
• Up to 25,000 continuous watts
• Twist-lock output connection
⚡ 240V Output
• Up to 19,000 watts
• Two 240V outlets
• One 40A, 240V NEMA 6-50 outlet configured for welding equipment
• One 40A, 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet intended for auxiliary, standby, household, or job-site power applications
⚡ 120V Output
• Two duplex NEMA 5-20, 20A GFCI-protected outlets
• Up to approximately 4.4 kW available per duplex circuit
YANMAR DIESEL POWER
At the heart of the Electra-Force 500D is a:
Yanmar 4TNV86CT
• 4-cylinder
• 2.0-liter
• Turbocharged diesel
• Tier 4 Final compliant
• 60 HP rated engine
20+ Gallon fuel tank
The engine operates at approximately 37+ HP at 1,800 RPM for quieter operation. The machine does not need to operate continuously at the engine’s maximum rated RPM.
POWER-DOWN IDLE CONTROL
The Electra-Force 500D also features adjustable Power-Down Idle Control.
This allows the operator to determine how long the engine remains at high idle after welding stops—helping improve fuel efficiency while maintaining quicker response during tack welding, repositioning, and repeated starts.
