Few areas of concern for this customer. These were entry points into the residence. Customer stated they had been hearing noises from the attic and sure enough. Evidence of squirrels was undeniable.

A months worth of trapping and a little know how and this customer is good to go.

Below are a few photos of the gaps we sealed along the roofline of Clark Funeral Home.

In my time doing this work, I’ve never seen a house that DIDN’T have some sort of builders gap between the plywood and gutter line.

This spells trouble for multiple reasons. The main concern is animals such as squirrels, flying squirrels, bats, snakes, chipmunks, rats and a mess of other wildlife inviting themselves into your warm, comfy attic.

Now, why they may mean no harm. That doesn’t mean they don’t unknowingly cause it. Few pictures from a squirrel exclusion we had done yesterday at Clark Funeral Home. Owner stated he had seen a squirrel run across his roof and into the building.

Upon my inspection of the attic, I found roof matter, droppings and food remnants in the attic.

We sealed the roofline with galvanized aluminum drip edge, secured tightly with sealing hardware and made sure to cap the corner boards. Luckily there was minimal damage but that’s not always the case.
