The last two days have been long but worth the time and money spent furthering the development of this project. Friday was just one of those days that lasted on into the night time hours as there was plenty of dirt to move with dump trucks from the local dirt/gravel pit. But luckily enough we were able to have the first pad ready for gravel Saturday morning.
And as Saturday morning dawned with a Kool crisp 26° it was a chilly start. While we waited for the ashalt to start rolling we took the time to make a few adjustments and get the outer banks to slope grade. And once the asphalt started rolling we were buttholes and elbows deep making sure that the driveway in and out was aligned and the sub-surface was properly compacted. As we ended the week on a slightly better note we were starting to shape things up so the local Contractor could begin setting the post for the new structure.
Looking forward to finishing this section this week and moving on to the next job.
