This was the real sound and footage of the Artemis ll launch. As NASA's Space Launch System rocket lifted off, it produced more than 8.8 million pounds of thrust, shaking the ground and creating a thunderous roar that could be felt and heard for miles. Few videos capture the raw power of spaceflight better than this.

SpaceX successfully demonstrated Crew Dragon’s emergency escape system during a dramatic Pad Abort Test. Eight SuperDraco engines fired simultaneously, blasting the capsule away from the launch pad in seconds. The spacecraft then deployed its parachutes and landed safely in the Atlantic Ocean.
