uber species. We provide DNA analysis in our certified Conservation Genetics lab with accurate results and a fast turn-around time using the JTP method. With DNA analysis you can keep track of the performance and truffle growth on your trees! Through our analytical services and rigorous scientific approach, we closely monitor the truffle orchards’ productivity. Certified Mycologists, Arborists, and General Contractors are on every project for professional care. Spring Fungi Fever is upon us! 🍄✨

Here’s a quick field-note carousel on a few morels you may encounter across California, the Pacific Northwest, the Cascades, and beyond — from natural black morels to burn morels and blonde/yellow morels.

Morel taxonomy can get wonderfully complicated, but the mushrooms themselves don’t care what we call them. Learn the habitat clues, pay attention to elevation and season, and always confirm your ID before eating.

Cook morels thoroughly, harvest respectfully, and happy hunting!
