I attended the Clean Energy Awards today… and man, my heart is FULL. ❤️

Back in 2017, Martel was a student in my very first Future Job Energy Act training — a program we built from the ground up and sponsored by ComEd.

Today, I watched him walk across that stage and receive a prestigious award in clean energy. 🏆⚡️

He’s broken barriers, started his own program, and is now out here hiring alumni of his own. That’s what real impact looks like. That’s what community power looks like.

This is why we do the work.
This is why we train.
This is why we build.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your participation in the *Taste of Solar* event last June, hosted by the South Suburban Sustainable Living Association. Your support helped make it a huge success!

As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue the tradition of giving back to our community.
