This fall is proving it again. The hills turning gold and red, the roads full of color tour traffic, and that crisp Keweenaw air that tells you winter's on its way. People who grow up here come back for a reason. This place has a pull.

The backpacks are out, and the classrooms are full. The school year is officially underway. To every student in the Copper Country settling into the new year, we're rooting for you.

Here's something we think about a lot: the kid tinkering with a broken toaster at the kitchen table, or asking how things actually work, might be a future engineer right here at home. The path from a Calumet classroom to a career in advanced manufacturing is real, and it runs right through this community.

Study hard, ask big questions, and stay curious. We can't wait to see what you build.

A couple of weeks ago, we welcomed a group of both community and national partners from near and far who are working hard on something our community really needs: more child care.

Led by Policy Equity Group and funded through SEMI Foundation, this team has been doing the behind-the-scenes work that rarely gets a spotlight. During a plant tour with our VP of Operations, Todd Brassard, these amazing people got to see our plant and the people who are and will continue to be impacted by their work.

We know firsthand how much daycare matters to our families and our workforce. Thank you for showing up for the Copper Country.
