Production Lab analyst job in quality control to support the production of Ferrosilicon, an alloy of Silicon and Iron used in steel and cast-iron production. The job involves instrumental chemical analysis of raw materials, by-products, furnace production and finished good samples, as well as physical testing on raw material, by-product, and finished goods samples. As a production lab, it operates 24/7/365, including holidays, and lab personnel operate on a Dupont-style 12-hour shift rotation. This is a full-time, union position, with benefits and 401k. We prefer a candidate with a 4-year degree in Chemistry. Applicant must have a minimum of a successful completion of 21 hours of college chemistry courses, a Chemistry minor or AA degree is acceptable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.26 - $32.56 per hour
A 4% Pay increase in 2025 and 2026.
• 12-hour Dupont-style shift, with a fixed, 28-day rotation that includes a 7-day off stretch.
• Both day and night shift in this rotation, 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM.
