Use Case đź’ˇ
A new AMR platform had the performance, safety, and compact footprint it needed. But one critical challenge stood between development and production.

Working alongside the customer’s engineering team, ADVANCED Motion Controls identified the root cause and accelerated the path to launch.

The result?
âś… Faster time-to-market
âś… Full-rate production enabled
âś… A trusted partnership for future innovation

Sometimes the value isn't just in the drive. It's in the engineering behind it.

Since 2006, Rice University’s Haptic Paddle has given students a hands-on way to explore dynamics, controls, and robotics in the lab. This simple, one-degree-of-freedom device features a movable handle that rotates back and forth, demonstrating essential engineering concepts through real-world experimentation.

Powered by servo drive technology from our AxCent™ Drive Family, the project gained current control capabilities needed to simplify the paddle’s motor control.
