Our work at the University of California San Diego's Mandeville Art Gallery was highlighted in Metropolis Magazine's September/October Issue!

Redesigned by Studio E Architects but originally designed by Southern California architect A. Quincy Jones, the Mandeville Art Gallery has been a fixture on campus since 1975. In the redesign, GKD Mediamesh was used to wrap the exterior facade to create a dynamic and eye-catching "front porch" for the museum.

Designed by Christian Bauer & Associates, the LuxConnect project uses Tigris metal mesh to both protect the building from heat and solar rays and to add architectural character to the modern building.

Tigris, a stainless steel open mesh with a 65% open area, mitigates heat on the building facade but stays virtually invisible from the inside, preserving views to the outside for occupants.

Our SilentMesh+ ceiling system takes architectural metal fabrics to new heights.

Suspended indoor ceilings can be assembled and fitted in GKD's workshop or directly on site. In combination with the popular architectural metal fabric from GKD, the SilentMesh+ substructure appears nearly invisible, allowing the chosen weave design and alloy to shine throughout the space.

GKD offers a standard collection of more than 50 distinct weave patterns that work well with a variety of projects. Many of these weaves are actually the result of an original collaboration between an architect and our design team, since we are often asked to develop custom patterns.

Grove Central Residences is a multi-family complex in Miami known for its in-house luxuries. When the Residences partnered with Touzet Studio to design the parking garage, co-founder Jacqueline Gonzalez Touzet chose GKD Helix 12 metal mesh not just for its durability in humid weather but also because of its beauty.

The 13,000+ square feet of flattened round wire was made into 24 panels at 72 inches tall and 19 inches wide. The parking garage is set along Route 1, one of Miami’s most heavily trafficked areas, making the uniqueness of the metal mesh stand out to commuters.

GKD MediaMesh is the all-in-one solution for large scale, transparent, energy efficient LED displays.

With LED technology integrated into stainless steel metal fabric, MediaMesh offers incredibly deep color and brilliance. Displays have a vertical resolution that is adjustable in 10 mm increments and in 40 mm or more in spacing. The horizontal resolution is standard at 25 and 42.5 mm horizontal pixel spacing.

Plus, there is a simple control system for graphics, animations, video clips and real-time data feeds, where users can adjust brightness to match lighting conditions.

Designed by the firm of Dominique Perrault, the Villejuif-Gustave Roussy station is one of the deepest transport infrastructures in France and also one of the most beautifully complex. Opened in 2025, the station resembles a pavilion that blends interior and exterior spaces, yet inside, it incorporates sweeping metallic elements that seem to move more intricately the further travelers walk into the structure.

GKD metal mesh is one element characteristically employed by Perrault to create a distinctly modern element in his work. It provides a way to divide the space while creating impactful architectural elements.

Designed by David Scott Parker Architects, the Care Resource Miami Health Center has long cared for the medically underserved in Miami. To expand care in the area, the nonprofit constructed a new parking garage, featuring GKD Helix 24 weave.
