ACSES is a student association focused on building a community of MIT students interested in computational science and engineering. We are affiliated with the Center for Computational Engineering (CCE) at MIT, and work closely with CCE faculty and students to serve the academic and social interests of students pursuing the CCE Computation for Design and Optimization (CDO) Master's and the Computat
ional Science and Engineering (CSE) PhD programs. However, ACSES members do not need to be affiliated with a CCE program in order to join; we encourage students from all disciplines to join, so that computational applications and techniques from many domains are represented.
