Rust, paint, stain, and coatings removed without chemicals or surface alteration.

Equipment, services, and training for starting or growing a laser cleaning business. Laser Cleaning & Restoration (or Laser ablation) uses a high-energy laser beam to safely remove contaminants, coatings, and buildup from a surface without damaging the material underneath. Here’s how it works: ✔ The laser targets the surface with precision ✔ Unwanted coatings or contaminants absorb the energy ✔ Th

e absorbed energy causes them to vaporize into gas ✔ What’s left? A clean, untouched base surface In simple terms—we use advanced laser technology to restore and clean surfaces efficiently, without harsh chemicals or abrasive blasting. It’s fast, eco-friendly, and highly effective. Puretech offers pickup/drop-off services as well as a mobile laser cleaning service, bringing cutting-edge cleaning and restoration solutions directly to you. This option reduces downtime and eliminates the hassle of transporting items, particularly ideal for machinery or equipment that cannot be moved. What Can We Clean? Our services cover a wide range of industries and applications, including: ✔ Paint and rust removal from metal ✔ Coating removal from wood (including kitchen cabinets) ✔ Mold remediation ✔ Soot removal (fire/smoke damage) ✔ Graffiti removal ✔ Marine, aerospace, automotive, injection molds and more If you have a question or a project in mind, or want to schedule a free demonstration, let’s talk! We’d love the opportunity to show you what Puretech can do.

Spend enough time around this industry and you start noticing something. A lot of the people selling lasers have never actually run one, except the day somebody shot a marketing video and handed them a cleaning head. So, when something goes wrong on an actual job, they rely on scripted answers. Can they tell you why the machine's doing what it's doing right in front of you?

None of that makes them dishonest. It means they're selling something they've never actually leaned on. There's a difference between knowing what a laser is supposed to do and knowing why it's actually behaving that way, on a part that doesn't match the demo video, on a timeline that doesn't care about ideal conditions. And let's be honest, conditions are never ideal in this industry.

That gap is the real problem, and it's the part no spec sheet shows you. Anybody can hand you a wattage and millijoule rating, but nobody can hand you the hours, the jobs, the times the settings that worked on a similar job didn't work today. What those hours actually buy you is understanding your system, what the parameters do, and how they work for or against each other.

I'm not telling you to distrust every sales rep in this business. I'm telling you to ask the one question that actually tells you something before you buy from anybody in it: how many hours have you personally spent behind the beam.

Stain removal has never been easier. With the right equipment and the right settings the process of removing stain from wood will never be the same.

Somebody asked me last week if a laser is basically just a fancier sandblaster. No. And the reason it isn't is the same reason it's safer to run than pretty much anything else on the market.

Sandblasting throws media at a part and hopes the substrate stays intact. Chemical stripping means fumes, a respirator and EPA paperwork. A laser does neither. It's light tuned to a specific wavelength that gets absorbed by rust, paint, oil or grime, but doesn't affect the base metal. No media. No chemical bath. No contact at all.

Everybody in this industry talks about that precision like it's a sales feature. Fair enough, it is. But the part that doesn't get said enough is that the same precision is what keeps the guy running the machine safer. No silica dust in the air. No solvent fumes. No media kicking back at your face shield. You're setting power, frequency, pulse rate and speed on a screen instead of guessing how hard to lean into it, allowing science to do the work.

Different isn't always better, except when it is
