Job Opening: Machinist Assistant with Team Tool and Technology, Inc.
Position available immediately with daytime hours or after school hours and some Saturdays
Starting at $15 hour
This is an entry-level position that requires a person who demonstrates mechanical aptitude. Applicant needs to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training will be provided, so you will need to have a willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. Will need to demonstrate characteristics such as self-motivation, integrity, creativity, respectfulness, kindness, trustworthiness, team player, good listener and enjoys working in a manufacturing environment.
Job Description
● Utilize manual machinery to complete simple operations such as drilling, tapping, deburring and surface conditioning
● Assist with production machinery set-up by gathering tools and materials required
● Take appropriate measures to ensure all products are completed to production, quality and technical specification
● Keep work area clean and organized
● Tend and observe equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation
