🚨🐝 Ductless Indoor Beehive?!
Yes… this really happened. One of our neighbors got stung 16 times when a ductless unit became home to bees.

It’s a good reminder of why professional maintenance matters:
👉 Ductless systems need a thorough cleaning every 1–2 years—whether you use it mostly for heating or cooling.
👉 A proper cleaning costs about $150–$250 per indoor unit, and your tech should use a bibb to catch wash & rinse solutions. (No bibb = wrong guy!)
👉 “Washable” filters don’t last forever. Depending on age, cleaning habits, and environment, they need to be replaced regularly—something most installers don’t tell you.
