As we continue recognizing , Daley’s is proud to be part of projects that help restore not just buildings, but opportunities for the communities around them.

Originally built in 1912, Sierra Madre Apartments in San Francisco suffered a devastating fire in 2021 that left the building uninhabitable. Today, alongside D+H Construction, the project is being carefully rehabilitated into 47 affordable housing units that will once again provide much needed housing for the community.

Daley’s is performing the drywall, taping, and rough carpentry scopes as this historic building is brought back to life. Projects like this carry real meaning for our team because they directly support the growing need for accessible housing in our communities while helping preserve spaces with deep local history.

We’re excited to continue sharing progress as the transformation moves forward.

is a great reminder of the impact construction can have on our communities, and projects like Riverhouse Hotel are exactly why Daley’s takes so much pride in this work.

Located in Martinez, CA, this 110 year old historic building is being transformed into 47 units of affordable housing, helping give new purpose to a space with so much history behind it. Daley’s will be delivering the drywall, acoustical, rough carpentry, and lath & plaster scopes as the project continues to move forward.

There’s still a lot more to come on this one. Stay tuned as the scaffolding comes down, the interiors start coming together, and the final details begin to take shape!

Last week, we wrapped up the best way we know how, out on a jobsite in Sunnyvale with a BBQ for the crew 🔥

It was a great chance to step back, connect, and recognize the people who make safety happen every single day. Our field teams continue to set the standard through their attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to looking out for one another, and it does not go unnoticed.

A big thank you to for having us out and helping make it a great event! And to our crews, we appreciate everything you do to keep our jobsites running safe and strong.

Foreman Friday Spotlight: Juan Vasquez

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Juan Vasquez for his stellar work on our jobsites. Juan joined Daley’s as a lath & plaster apprentice in 2019 and quickly worked his way up to foreman in 2020.

He carries himself with a humble manner that shows in how he cares for his crew. Juan treats his peers like family and always looks out for their best interests, earning their respect and setting the tone for safe, thoughtful, and productive work.

Juan represents what’s best about our industry, and we’re proud to have him leading by example every day.

Thank you, Juan, for everything you bring to Daley’s 💪

Step two for is Respond.

Recognizing a hazard is only the first step. Responding is about taking action early. Not waiting for something to go wrong, but making the call to control the risk before it becomes a problem.

On our jobsites, that shows up in real time. Crews speaking up, foremen stepping in, and teams making adjustments as conditions change.

At Daley’s, the goal is to eliminate, reduce, or isolate hazards before they ever have a chance to cause harm. Because safety is not just about what you see. It is about what you do next.

Happy Construction Safety Week!

Today, we’re starting with one of the most important steps: Recognize

Before any work starts, our teams take part in a safety orientation that sets the tone for what awareness looks like on a Daley’s jobsite. From there, it shows up every day in our morning huddles. Crews connect, walk through the plan, and flag anything that needs a second look before getting started.

At Daley’s, recognizing hazards is part of the job. It’s about paying attention to the details that keep everyone moving safely and returning home to their families.
