As you might have heard we lost our shop due to a bad fire today. Fortunately nobody was injured.
Just want to thank the Canaan Fire Company and also Norfolk,Sheffield and New Marlborough Fire departments and everyone else that stopped by today and offered help and support! Really feels good to know there is so many people in our community willing to drop their busy schedules and come out to offer up a helping hand anyway they can in these hard times.
Now starts the rebuilding process. I can assure you we will come out of this bigger and stronger than ever. The fire did not take everything and we still have some equipment left so we will continue daily operations as usual. Again thank you to All responders and everyone who came out and offered support we all really appreciate it!

Segalla’s Construction began as a general works contractor in the 1950’s headed by Stanley J. Segalla. After retirement, the company was turned over to his son, William Segalla, and incorporated in 1978. His daughter Krysti manages the financial and HR operations of the business. Today, Segalla’s Construction has undertaken many projects for municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential clients ranging from small to large in size. Over the years, Segalla’s Construction has built a stellar reputation in our local community and this in turn has expanded our business all across the tri-state area.
