Our original mission was to sell and service barn and dairy equipment in a fifty mile radius from our home base. Since that time, we have grown tremendously. With the demise of fifteen other dealers in the general area, our services have expanded to cover the State of Ohio and surrounding areas from each of five locations. Six route trucks visit our customers on a regular 5 week basis delivering p
arts and supplies. Twenty more service and sales vehicles are on the road, too. All the while, ownership and management have remained in the hands of Dolores and son David Hill. Our main location was moved from Middlebranch to new facilities in Canal Fulton in the spring of 1987. During the last 30 years, four more locations and several other lines of equipment have been added. The company name was changed in May of 1993 to reflect the expanded nature of our business. In early 1998, Hill's purchased the dairy assets of Baugher Surge Sales in Williamsfield, Ohio. With Bob Baugher acting as manager of the Williamsfield store, we now offer service to all of northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania out of that location. In 2000 Hill's combined with Jack Fox and Ag One Supply to cover Southern Ohio and Northern West Virginia from Circleville, Ohio, and in 2004 Ben Torsell and Don Looser (TLC Dairy Services) became a part of Hill's to cover the western part of the state. Our main location occupies 2 acres with three buildings for a total in excess of 25,000 sq. ft. Of this, 2,500 sq. is devoted to walk-in trade with the balance used for shop/warehouse and offices. We maintain a good relationship with the dairymen and veterinarians in our area. We make every effort to maintain the same relationships with nutritionists, milk inspectors, and other agencies governing the dairy industry. Our main suppliers are DeLaval, EcoLab, Mueller, J-Star, Oswalt, RotoMix, Luck-Now Mixers, Ritchie, Mirafount, and J & D Fans. SERVICES:
Hill’s Supply offers a full line of products and services. We have 17 men covering electrical, welding, refrigeration and all other installation, maintenance and repair of equipment common to the dairy industry on a 24/7 basis. In addition, we have six route sales trucks in Monday through Friday service. Our market area covers all of Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia, Eastern Indiana, Southern Michigan, and Western New York. We maintain a full line of dairy equipment and supplies in inventory for repair, maintenance and sales. We have a large dairy shopping center for walk-in business.
