General Public Announcement - UPDATE
On the morning of 07/22/2026, one of our company work trucks was involved in an auto accident while traveling westbound on Highway 50 at the Highway 9 intersection.
The driver of our company vehicle, Cody Trantham, was admitted to the ER and treated for several bumps, bruises, and severe trauma. Cody was released later in the day but is expected to be re-evaluated in the days to come.
Anthony Fontecchio (passenger), was admitted to the hospital and treated for a broken femur, broken tibia, x2 fractured spinal vertebrae, several bumps, bruises, and severe trauma.
Anthony was transported to Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs to undergo emergency surgery to install rods into his leg to repair the broken bones.
Anthony was released from the Penrose Hospital after four days and is currently at home to begin his recovery process.
We do not know the details of the driver of the other vehicle, other than he was walking and communicating on scene. We do want him to know that our thoughts and prayers are with him and we do hope that all is well.
I strongly feel that because both Cody and Anthony were wearing their seatbelts, the safety airbags/design of the truck, and God as their co-pilot, they were both able to escape far worse injuries or even death.
Please give a shout-out to these three individuals and send prayers to all of them.
