A great summer on the water starts with the plans you make this fall.
Let’s talk about fall and planning. If you’re thinking about a new dock, a seawall, a boat lift, or turning your waterfront into your own personal resort, now is the time to start that conversation.
At Down To Earth Waterfront, we pride ourselves on the work we do and the service we provide. We’re grateful that so many people trust us with their waterfront projects. Our schedule is currently booked a couple of months ahead, and as new projects come in, that schedule continues to grow.
People are waiting a little longer than usual, but we haven’t changed our prices.
As a growing company, we have two choices. We could raise our prices, serve fewer customers, and focus on bigger projects. Or we could add more people to our field team and continue serving clients with a range of projects and budgets.
We firmly believe that everyone deserves the same quality of service, regardless of the size of their checkbook. So we’re continuing to grow our field team responsibly, making production a little quicker while maintaining the care and quality our clients expect from us.
With that said, if you want to enjoy your waterfront next summer, you really should be thinking about what you want to do now.
We would hate for someone to call us in May, hoping to have something ready in June, only to find that the next available construction dates are much later in the season. Timing depends on the project and how everything falls into place, but planning ahead gives us more time to work through those details together.
Whether it’s your dock, your seawall, your boat lift, or your entire waterfront space, getting your plans in order early matters. There are materials to choose, designs to work through, and preparations to make before construction can begin.
The boat show in January is often when people start thinking seriously about the coming season. But if you haven’t started making preparations by the end of February, having your project ready early in the summer may be difficult. Waiting too long could mean spending another season wishing you had started sooner.
