It's pretty sad that a bitter person who was trying to scam our small business into giving her friend free work had left a false review in hopes of bashing our name and has since been blocked. For anyone wondering what actually happened, the lady who made the post was never a client of ours she never gave any deposit for work, her friend did. We were actually on a job for this woman's 1st cousin whom has since hired us again and also just had us do a job for his parents. When we arrived at the location of the ladies friend who hired us we did a total demolition in her bathroom (she wanted all new ceramic tile) when we removed the tile we found black rotted wood under the bathtub and told her it needed to be replaced and structurally the entire area had to be replaced to be safe due to the weight of the bathtub. They did not want it done properly they only wanted the rotted portion cut out and the area patched. We told her we wouldn't do that as it wouldn't be safe so she said her husband would and for us to come back as soon as he had it "fixed" we also found the previous tile wasn't installed properly as thats what caused her issue in the 1st place there was no hardie backer board under the tile there was 2 inches of thin-set with mesh in between layers that was not in the initial quote.. at that point her husband hot furious and said the demo is done and he would finish the tile as he "lays tile all day" along with some pretty threatening behavior to us. It saddens us that some people can try to hurt a small business because they couldn't get the work done for free. Luckily we who know us and know the quality of our work including the relatives of this bitter woman.
