Shuttle Discovery's STS-133 final landing. End of 27+ years of service totaling 39 missions. A total of 365 days in orbit and close to 150 million miles traveled. Farewell Discovery. Much thanks to NASA.

STS-121 was a space shuttle mission to the International Space Station (ISS) flown by Space Shuttle Discovery, on July 4th, 2006. The main purposes of the mission were to test new safety and repair techniques introduced following the Columbia disaster of February 2003. It is also the only flight of Flight Engineer Lisa Nowak.
