Hello All,

We have had the opportunity to work on quite a few unique projects recently and wanted to take the time to share some of them. This project consisted of a full master bathroom makeover. The shower was demoed and new 12"x24" wall tile was installed along with marble mosaic flooring. A marble niche and bench was added along with new fixtures and a safety bar. To finish the shower, a new opaque glass door was installed on top of the marble curb. The vanity was also demoed, and plumbing was moved. A new 36" tall base vanity unit was installed and a quartz countertop installed. Along with this work, the lighting and mirrors were installed, new sink fixtures installed, new paint on all surfaces and the adjacent mirror was trimmed out to increase its appeal/appearance.

Hello All,

We have had the opportunity to work on quite a few unique projects recently and wanted to take the time to share some of them. This project consisted of installing Ship Lap on the vanity back wall and across the entire bathroom ceiling. We then moved and reinstalled both the vanity light fixtures and mirrors. We finished the installation with cove and flat trim around all edges for a seamless finish.

This a great example of how a smaller modification/renovation can lead to a major overall transformation in a room. Ship Lap adds quite a bit of dimension and greatly increases the effects of design features around it along with giving the appearance of a larger area due to rabbeted joints that are installed in line with the long run of a room.

Hello All,

We have had the opportunity to work on quite a few unique projects recently and wanted to take the time to share some of them. This project consisted of hand crafting and installing a faux beam across the vaulted ceiling in the great room. Full size steel beam ties were used to increase the appearance of a true load bearing beam. The beam was both stained and treated with polyurethane to protect the finish. Lastly, the fan was relocated to the mid-point of the beam and all beam to ceiling connections were taped off and caulked to provide a seamless finish.

Hello All,

We have had the opportunity to work on quite a few unique projects recently and wanted to take the time to share some of them. This project consisted of a bathroom makeover with quite a few unique details. Shiplap was added to the vanity wall and to the light well above the vanity. The light well was dropped down to increase the lighting in the room, electric was re-ran and new lighting was installed. Mirrors and floating shelves were added to the vanity wall. In an effort to reuse the existing vanity base and save our client some money, we raised the counter height by 4" to increase functionality, color match painted the riser and reinforced the cabinet framing to accept a new quartz countertop. In addition to this work, a new toilet was installed and the walls and ceiling were painted along with trim work where necessary.

Hello All,

We hope you all have had a great Holiday Season so far! We have had the opportunity to work on quite a few unique projects recently and wanted to take the time to share some of them. This project consisted of a full shower makeover. The client had a drop-in bathtub/shower unit and wanted to go for a luxury walk-in shower.

In order to accomplish this, we went with a high-end marble mosaic floor tile, white subway tile to the ceiling, custom niche built in, hand bar added for safety, new shower fixtures, two corner shelfs, large glass slider door and marble touches throughout. The before and after pictures on this project speak for themself.

I wanted to show everyone the next set of before/after photos from McKee Group's recent Flip. If you remember, this is actually my home that we conducted a full flip on. The carpet in the bedrooms was in desperate need of replacement. We decided to go back in with a Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Flooring Product. This specific flooring is 8mm thick, waterproof and scratch resistant. All great features when dogs and toddlers are running wild. As you can see in the pictures, flooring can make a dramatic difference in a room. Along with the flooring, other upgrades in the bedrooms include: New fans, Patch/Paint, Curtains/Blinds, Trim work.

We wanted to provide an update on some of the work we have completed since we have last posted. This project is close to home as it is the recent flip, McKee Group has conducted on my own Residence. I will be posting often and will show you exactly how McKee Group took this home in utter disrepair and transformed it into a dream Home.

Lets first start in the heart of the home, the kitchen. As you can see in the before picture, this kitchen needed quite a bit of work. That said, McKee Group conducted a full kitchen make over. Please find a list of the scope of work below:

-Brand New Cabinet Package (42" Uppers to extenuate the vaulted ceilings and increase storage)
-Granite Countertop Installation Package
