Wishing everyone a fun & festive Halloween! 🕷🎃

Fort Myers Beach is building back better, and we're proud to be part of it 💪🏼

Built with concrete block construction, this two-story home features a lower level intentionally designed with breakaway walls. In the event of significant flooding, these walls are designed to give way, allowing floodwaters to pass through the lower level to reduce pressure on the home's structure. This helps protect the integrity of the upper level, where the main living spaces are located. It's a smart approach to coastal construction that prioritizes both safety and long-term durability.

If you're considering a home in Southwest Florida, you need a builder who understands the unique conditions of coastal construction. Our team brings local knowledge and attention to detail to every project, and we'd love to put that experience to work for you.

Here's a look back at one of our Windward houses that was featured earlier this year during the 2026 Showcase of Homes! 🏠

We are already prepping for the 2027 Showcase, which will take place this upcoming January. We can hardly wait to show you what we have next! ✨

Autumn in Southwest Florida looks a little different: endless blue skies, swaying palms, and a lighter feeling in the air. 🌴

This is the season to slow down and savor the spaces that make home feel like a getaway. Think sunset by the fire, a dip in the infinity pool, and the boat waiting just steps away at the dock. This is what Southwest Florida weekends are made for.

Dreaming of a home built around moments like these? Windward Construction brings your vision to life, where building meets imagination. Let's start the conversation: call 239.985.5554 or visit ImagineWindward.com. ☀️

Happy Friday!

Under construction: A bathroom is taking shape, and the details are starting to come together 🛠️

The tub is perfectly positioned to take in serene views of the waterfront and preserve beyond. At the shower, a sleek linear drain keeps the look clean and streamlined, while a Fry Reglet detail in place of traditional baseboard adds a subtle architectural touch. Tile extends all the way to the ceiling for a polished, finished look, while dark tile at the vanity adds a little drama. Cabinetry, fixtures, and hardware will come later to pull the entire space together.

From concept to completion, our client’s vision is coming to life, one carefully considered detail at a time ✨

Today we acknowledge the effort and dedication of those who work hard every day. Take a well-deserved break, soak up some sunshine, and enjoy the long weekend! 🌊☀️🌴

How are you spending your Labor Day weekend?

Your home should reflect what matters to you.

If you love to entertain, an entryway bar welcomes guests in style. It can be a bold focal point, a cozy corner, or anything between. If w**e is more your style, a custom w**e room can turn your collection into a beautiful feature of your home. Whatever your preference, thoughtful details create spaces that are distinctly yours.

Under construction! 🛠️

Metal framing is being installed inside this Sanibel home to shape the interior walls. We use strong 20-gauge metal framing to ensure straight lines and precision throughout. Plywood backing is then strategically added behind the drywall in areas that need extra reinforcement for hanging cabinetry, shelving, TVs, heavy artwork, and more - so you never have to spend time searching for a stud.

When you’re building to last, every detail matters. Contact us today to see what we can build for you! 🏠🌴
