Analysis of Yellow Corn & White Corn

When analyzing both types of corn according to the USDA standard, they must meet the following conditions:

Yellow corn is corn with yellow kernels, and has less than 5% of other corn colors.

White corn is corn with white kernels, and has less than 2% of other corn colors.

One of the challenges in human visual inspection is grading (classifying) grains by their sizes. Both wheat grains in the picture marked with the small arrow are the same size - but we see them differently!
