At Coastal Machine & Supply, we utilize a pre-production check process to review every detail before a component ever enters production. To ensure complete accuracy, no project is left unchecked. This is true for prototypes to high-volume production runs.

By following a standardized checklist for every part, we maintain consistency across all projects. Our process begins in our ProShop ERP system, where a comprehensive checklist is completed for each order before work begins.

From there, we verify that drawing revisions match between customer purchase orders and our system files, confirm that all documents from the original quote packet are accessible, and ensure part numbers remain consistent across all documentation.

We are looking for CNC Lathe Machinists/Operators (Mazak and DMG Mori) with at least 3 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.

• Premium shift differential for 2nd shift

A little over a week ago, the shop ran with laughter, families, fun, and a whole lot of crawfish!

We hosted our annual crawfish boil and welcomed a couple hundred teammates and family members for a day built around connection. Between 700 lbs of crawfish, slip and slides, an ice cream truck, and plenty of time spent catching up outside of the shop floor, the day had a little bit of everything.

One of the most meaningful parts of the event was seeing machinists walking their families through the shop, showing them the machines they run and the parts they take pride in building. That moment of sharing your work with the people who matter most is what this is really about.

We also wrapped in a few door prizes to keep things going, including gift cards, ice chests, and even PTO giveaways, because taking care of our people and celebrating them matters just as much as the work we do.

Events like this reflect what we value most at Coastal: a place where work and family can come together in a real way.
