From the upper deck views to the lower-level retreat, this Morse Lake project was designed to make every inch of outdoor living count.

This custom two-level deck features premium Deckorators composite decking, sleek black cable railing, and warm wood panel accents throughout. Between the two levels, a stunning wood-paneled ceiling with integrated lighting and a ceiling fan creates a comfortable, finished outdoor space that can be enjoyed day or night.

We also maximized functionality with custom under-deck storage, complete with a beautiful sliding barn door that blends seamlessly into the design while keeping lake gear organized and out of sight.

The result? A space built for entertaining, relaxing, and making memories on the water for years to come.

“I have a construction background and understand that things happen, unforeseen things that no one could have predicted. So for me, turning over my home to Jake and Jeremy was a test of my own will. We first came across Final Features at a home show, mind you they were not the only outdoor space contractor in the facility, and we made our rounds speaking with most if not all of them. My wife and I finished the rounds and had a few questions we hadn't thought to ask. We mutually agreed that we wanted go back to the booth Jake & Jeremy were working to continue our discussion. There was a simplistic honesty we felt with the two of them. Zero sales pitch pressure. My wife let them know they would be hearing from us soon.

Jeremy and my wife hit it off. The four of us sat at our kitchen table and the project was officially under way. Jeremy and Jake listened to what was important to her, made suggestions when needed. Genuinely as comfortable as a first sit down could go. Most but not all of me hiring contractor trust had resolved itself. My wife and I never went into our project seeking the lowest bid contractor we were seeking honesty and integrity. Those were the very words I spoke to Jake and Jeremy as they left that night.

Construction has it normal ups and downs and mother nature was no friend to our project. Rain impacted our schedule like it did for any company with outside work, but the communication kept everyone on the same page. Our project morphed a bit into a design build type project with Jake being thrown a design change request and working them right into his plan. Jeremy being right there for us to know what if any budget impacts we would have. We created a group text to up the communication and that was very valuable for me to be able to communicate any additional trade work I was having done, (irrigation, electrical) etc.

A couple things that I really appreciated and that stuck with me is the pride in the work and attention to details, ( especially Jake ) showed us throughout the project. The other is how clean they left our property every day they were here.

The project is completed and we simply could not be happier. The workmanship is terrific, ( and I'm particular ). Maybe that's why I appreciated Jake so much, because he is particular about what he leaves his customer when he walks off the job when completed.

Final Features wanted to give us our dream space and delivered. My recommendation would be that you seriously consider them in creating yours.

Focus on the process, not the praise. 👊

The likes, compliments, and finished photos are great, but the real work happens long before any of that. It’s in the early mornings, long days, careful planning, and every board that gets put into place.

This pool house is still just a framework, but every big project starts somewhere. We’re excited to keep building and show you how this one comes together.
