It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I share the news that I am closing Buzz's dream business due to him passing away. He cherished his clients and made a lot of great friends along the way. Please keep our children and myself in your prayers as we figure out our new lives without Buzz! Thank you all for helping us by calling him for the last 9 years!

Dear loyal customers and friends, It is so hot right now that NO ONE'S unit is going to be able to keep up with cooling your home the way you want it! To help save you some money, here a some tips for you!
Take your outdoor temperature reduce it by 20 degrees. This is what your typical outdoor system can keep up with. Take a garden hose and rinse your outdoor unit on a low pressure setting to cool it down and get better results. If you can, give your system a break at some point. If they are running constantly they will freeze up, leaving you with hours of no air. Cut the thermostat up and run your fans if you aren't there. Also remember to change your filters monthly!

WARNING! If you live in southeastern NC chances are you have a heat pump heating and cooling system. We're experiencing freezing rain and frozen temperatures. Our type of systems have a ambient temperature sensor to thaw out the outdoor unit, but the sensors are located at the bottom portion of these units which will not allow the systems to thaw since the freezing water freezes from the top where your fan motor rotates. The ice will freeze your fan blades and prevent the proper rotation of the fan blades and causing the motors to burn up causing repair cost of hundreds of dollars. To tell if you have a heat pump system and to properly switch your system go to your indoor thermostat . See if your mode setting has an option for emergency heat it could be labelled E heat. Switch the mode button from Heat mode to E Heat and adjust the temperature accordingly. This will shut down your outdoor unit which will be frozen and activate your indoor heat strips. Let your system run in the E Heat or emergency heat mode until the temperature is outside get above freezing and your system can perform properly. Then switch your thermostat mode setting back to the normal heat setting . If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 910 458 8611. Stay warm and stay safe .
