It is with a heavy heart that we share some difficult news with you, our community. Due to an unexpected loss within the Matthews family, our office will be closing tomorrow, Wednesday, March 11th at noon, and will remain closed for the entirety of Thursday, March 12th.

We will return to normal business hours on Friday, March 13th, ready to serve you as we always have.

Good Morning Everyone! We are looking to grow our team here at Avalon Heating & Cooling! We’re looking to hire service technicians and installation technicians, and are willing to teach if you’re willing to learn! With that said, we do ask for a few basic requirements before applying. Those requirements include: reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license so you can drive our vans to job sites, a willingness to work in varied conditions, a sense of professionalism, the ability to show up to work on time, some technical ability (able to work hand tools), and a great sense of humor.

We work hard Monday through Friday and would need someone who is willing to put in as much effort as we put into them. Paid training is provided on the job, in the shop, and in classes. We also offer paid vacation and sick days, medical insurance, and provide uniforms to wear everyday. Hourly pay is based on what you can bring to the table.

We’ve been serving the area for over 20 years, and are looking for people to add to our team. If you or someone you know would be interested in working for our family owned company, please reach out or stop by, we would love to meet you!

We really do have the greatest customers because thanks to you, we believe we have found the gentleman pictured below. We have received calls and relayed the information to the Sheriff's Department and they will take it from here. Thank you again to everyone who shared, commented, and reacted to this post.

Hello Carroll County and beyond! It's been a while since we've made a post, and this one might be an unfortunate one but we need your help. On Friday 5/17 at 10:11pm we had a some unwelcome visitors. Two gentleman arrived at our shop well after hours to help themselves to our scrap pile. They left without much to show, but then decided to visit us again last night (5/20) at 10:46pm. Again, our scrap pile was small and once again, they left without much to show. We've been working closely with Carroll County Sheriff's Department and filed a report but if anyone has any information or can identify the man or truck in this picture please call the sheriff's department at (330) 627-2141. A special thanks goes out to the two deputies that responded to the calls quickly and efficiently, we appreciate you! And thank you in advance to our wonderful customers and community, we are working hard everyday to help you and we appreciate any help we could receive in return!
