CARSON CITY’S AMERICA’S 250TH ANNIVERSARY: TWO GARRISON U.S. FLAGS INSTALLED

Resource Concepts, Inc. was honored to be part of this collaborative effort, celebrating our nation’s history and the enduring values that unite us.

On July 4, 2026, Carson City commemorated America’s 250th anniversary with the installation of two garrison-sized U.S. flags to proudly welcome visitors entering the city from the north and south. Spearheaded by the Foundation for Carson City Parks & Recreation, the initiative was entirely community-funded, with sponsors, donors, and contractors contributing financial and in-kind support to bring the vision to life.

This Fourth of July, we pause with gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy, the communities we call home, and the neighbors, clients, families, and friends who make this country worth celebrating.

As our nation marks 250 years, we are reminded that freedom is both a gift and a responsibility — something to cherish, protect, and pass on with care.

For the past 48 years, Resource Concepts, Inc. has been grateful for the opportunity to serve our communities, families, landowners, and working landscapes. We are thankful for the people who trust us, work beside us, and help make our corner of the world a little better.

☀️ Fathers, Family & the First Day of Summer ☀️

As we welcome the first day of summer, we're also taking a moment to recognize the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, foster dads, mentors, and father figures who help shape our families, our communities, and our future.

At Resource Concepts, Inc., we believe the work we do matters—but the people we do it for matter even more. Strong families, meaningful connections, and showing up for one another are values that guide us both inside and outside the workplace.

To the dads and father figures who lead with patience, integrity, hard work, and heart—thank you for the example you set every day.

We hope you had a wonderful Father's Day weekend and are enjoying the start of a summer filled with family, adventure, and memorable moments.

Resource Concepts, Inc. is honored to have been selected by the Carson City Board of Supervisors and the Historic Resources Commission as a recipient of the 2026 Carson City Historic Preservation Award for the reconstruction of our historic office, the Lee House.

We are deeply humbled by this recognition and sincerely grateful to the firefighters, City staff, and members of the community whose support, care, and encouragement carried us through the fire and the rebuilding process that followed.

Historic preservation is ultimately about more than structures — it is about people, shared history, resilience, and the places that connect us. When people and place come together, that is community, and we are proud and grateful to be part of the Carson City community.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than the start of summer—it is a time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and devotion of those who never made it home.
We are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy because of their service, and we hold close the families, friends, and loved ones who carry their memory forward each day.
May we remember them with humility, gratitude, and respect.
