A huge thank you to everyone who visited our Customer Appreciation Hot Dog Drive-thru yesterday! It was great to see so many friendly faces. We are grateful for you! Serving this community is what we love, and yesterday was a fun way to say thanks for your support.

A big shout-out to our amazing crew for grilling, serving, and keeping the line moving with smiles throughout the event.

We're also excited to congratulate the winners of our Public Power Week Coloring Contest: MORGAN and BARLOW! Your artwork was fantastic, and the drive-thru visitors and we loved seeing your creativity. Thank you to everyone who entered. Every single entry made us smile!

⚡ Happy Public Power Week! This week we're celebrating public power and the community that makes it possible!

We're here to serve you. That means reliable electricity, local decision-making, and a team of neighbors who live and work right here in Skamania County.

Mark your calendars! Our Customer Appreciation Hot Dog Drive-thru is next Tuesday, October 6, from 4–6 pm at the PUD.

The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) has scheduled a planned, overnight electrical outage for system maintenance. This outage will affect all customers fed by the Underwood substation, including Underwood, Cook, Willard, and Mill A. The outage will begin on Saturday, September 12 at approximately 11:55 p.m. The outage is expected to be restored on Sunday, September 13 by approximately 7 a.m. Please note that an approximate time is a reasonable estimate and subject to change. When the estimated time is extended, crews will provide updates, if possible, but priority is given to safely completing their work. Customers affected by this outage will be called. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Skamania County PUD will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The Board will review candidate qualifications for an elective office nominee.

UPDATE: We are happy to report that this sweet boy has been reunited with his owner!
🐾 FOUND DOG 🐾
One of our employees spotted a male chocolate lab in traffic at the Carson roundabout and stopped to help before he was hit. He is currently safe at Sprague Landing and looking for his family!
