The Arizona Capitol dome used to be clad in a painted lead-and-tin alloy. More than 9,600 pounds of copper sheeting were added during a major renovation that helped better serve our reputation as the Copper State. Awesome!

In True Wild West fashion, Warren lost his interest in the mine while betting on a horse. But it wasn't at the track. He bet he could beat a horse in a foot race and lost his stake in a mine that would go on to produce more than 8 billion pounds of copper.

Unfortunately, the U.S. isn't even close...China produces about six times more rare earth material than we do, and a single Chinese mine dwarfs total annual U.S. output. We have a lot of work to do!
