This is the new CKT 240 TD. As low lead is slowly becoming an out dated fuel source this may be a option for some pepole. We have installed this240 hp, liquid cooled 4 cylinder diesel. The plan is to be flight testing in may. This cool cat sips fuel at 6.3 gal per hr @ 160 hp. One nice attribute is the turbo, keeping this power plant producing power at altitude. While the liquid cooled diesel adds a little weight it makes up for it in longevity. Air cooled engines tend to go thru thermal cycles robbing life from engine components. We are very excited to see this project coming together with some new technology.
