A new article in the Cowboy State Daily talks about our latest project to produce low-cost missiles for the military. There is one minor error in the article, the control panel was used for static firing the missiles not to launch them.

Last Saturday we gave a tour of our facility to the Fort Caspar Museum Association for those who signed up for their bus tours. At the end of the tour, they were able to witness a test firing of a four-inch PVC motor with a new nozzle design. The first few seconds of the firing were okay, but after that, the PVC nozzle transition piece cracked and failed. It was not a totally unexpected failure as the transition piece was not what we had used in the past successfully. Unfortunately, the old piece is no longer in production.

Back in the late 1980's we were promoting a lunar base concept that featured a lunar railroad to move people and material from one base to another on the moon at a NASA conference. We had a lunar base exhibit that featured a lunar base with a railroad. It now looks like NASA is warming up to the idea.

Watch a new satellite propulsion system developed by Wickman Spacecraft & Propulsion Company go up into orbit. The classified Air Force satellite using it is now in geosynchronous orbit. This breakthrough technology was developed at our facility here Casper, Wyoming and is now 22,236 miles above the earth in space.
